Hello~ Selamat Malam~ Apa kabar semua? I already used three greeting expressions in Indonesian LOL In this one, I will write some greeting expression that often you hear here and also they use it for daily communication. So, let`s get started~ 

1.  “Halo” dan “Hai”: Yes, These two expression that you would often hear. It use for greetings your friend and people that you known well. Do not use this for your boss or your teacher, kay? 

2.   “Selamat Pagi”, “Selamat Siang”, dan “Selamat Malam”: These are the formal expression which is for your teacher, boss, or people that older than you :D 
- "Selamat Pagi" It uses on morning until 11 a.m. 
- "Selamat Siang" It uses on 11 a.m until 3 p.m. 
- "Selamat Malam" It uses around evening. 
- "Selamat Tidur" It as same as "Good Night" 

3. “Assalamualaikum”: Because Indonesia have majority of Muslim, we often use this religious greeting to other Muslim. It also often use when we visiting someone house which is we know their family is Muslim. 

4.  “Permisi”: You should use this one when you want to asking someone. This greeting also use when you visiting someone`s house. 

5. "Bro", "Bray", "Sis", and "Say: These are some informal greetings. Often use when we greets our close friend. 

Okay, That`s all for the greetings ^^ There are still many greetings that you could hear in Indonesia since we also have traditional language here :D but don`t worry, I already told you the most basic greetings in Indonesia. So, they could understand when you use it XD feel free to ask anything related to this post. Dalam post ini saya akan menuliskan beberapa ekspresi yang sering digunakan orang-orang Indonesia untuk berkomunikasi dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. 1.     “Halo” dan “Hai”: Iya, ini adalah kedua ekspresi sapaan yang sering digunakan untuk menyapa teman atau orang-orang terdekat tetapi jangan gunakan ini untuk menyapa atasanmu atau gurumu ya :D

2.     “Selamat Pagi”, “Selamat Siang”, dan “Selamat Malam”: Ekspresi ini adalah ekspresi sapaan formal yang biasanya digunakan untuk menyapa atasan, guru, atau orang yang lebih tua.

3.     “Assalamualaikum”: Karena Indonesia memiliki banyak warga yang beragama Islam, kami terkadang menggunakan sapaan ini untuk menyapa sesama umat muslim. Ekspresi ini juga digunakan ketika kamu akan masuk ke rumah orang lain, jika kamu tahu bahwa pemilik rumah itu seorang muslim.

4.     “Permisi”: Sapaan ini digunakan saat kamu hendak menanyakan sesuatu pada orang lain. Sapaan ini juga bisa digunakan ketika kamu akan masuk ke rumah lain.


5.     “Bro”, “Bray”, dan “Say”: Sapaan ini biasa digunakan untuk menyapa teman terdekat kita. 
            Hello everyone! You can call me Tammy ^^ So this is my first post, I`m so excited and nervous while writing this haha >_< Actually I have been planning to make this blog since last year but my tight collage schedule won`t let me. Now, I`m on holiday. Finally, I can make and writing this post for you guys :D It starts when I realized that not many Indonesian really cares about their own cultures, I didn`t mean to judging Indonesian but as far as I observes, it kinda like that. In the other hand, I saw some Youtube videos  that some foreigners singing in Indonesian. I think that was awesome that they`re interested in our culture even they`re singing I really appreciate them.

            My main goal to make this blog is to introduce Indonesian language, culture, food, or even some events that could happen in our daily lives. I want to show world that our tradition is rich and unique. Some interesting event that only happen here in Indonesia, especially when you are commuting or going to a crowded place hehe since Indonesia is not really a safe place >_<


            Finally, I have enough courage to write this blog because I have no confident with my grammar but since I took writing comprehension this semester and someone told me that I should try because if I always afraid of mistake, I won`t learn and mistakes is our best teacher :D Thanks for motivating me haha.
